LOCATION:  Carlisle Furnace was located near the junction of Boiling Springs Creek (Old Town Run), and Yellow Breeches Creek, at Boiling Springs.  Approx. 5 miles south-east of Carlisle, at the village of Boiling Springs, South Middleton Twp., Cumberland Co.
