| Location: Located near the Village of Laughlintown, on Rolling Rock Run, Ligonier Twp., Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. Go east on PA Rt.30 east of Ligonier to Laughlintown. At the Compass Inn in Laughlintown, turn right and go south about 2 miles.. This road will take you through Rolling Rock Country Club property, and is a private road. At the bottom of the hill , a road turns off to the left, cross the covered bridge over Rolling Rock Run. Proceed about 0.8mile. You will pass one house on the right, which was the boarding house for workmen at the furnace. About 100 yards pass the the the Furnace will be on the left, acrossRolling Rock Run. The stack has been reconstructed. |
