| Location: Take PA Rt. 31 east from Donegal to Jones Mills, just east of Jones Mills, at the base of Laurel Hill Mountain, PA Rt.381 turns left (north). Follow PA Rt.381 for approx. 0.7 miles. Turn right (east) on T-337 for 0.4 mile to where the road splits. Go left (north). It might be better to walk this very rough road. About 0.7 mile from where the road split, you will see Fountain Furnace on the left of the road. About 100 yards from the creek On old cabin is just past the furnace site. The stack is in heavy under brush. |
